King David |
| When all of
the elders of Israel had come to King David at Hebron, the king made a
compact with them at Hebron before the Lord, and they anointed David king
over Israel.
II Samuel 5:3
The harp depicts the fact that David is credited with composing many of the psalms, songs of praise to God. The crown represents David and the lineage of royalty that leads to the King of Kings, Christ the Lord. |
